Mansij Arya is the Founder & Managing Partner of Athirst Legal, Advocates and Solicitors, a multi specialized law firm with its corporate office located at New Delhi. Mansij specializes in Corporate and Commercial Law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Arbitration, Consumer disputes advisory and litigation, among others. Mansij is a masters in commerce and also holds a masters in law. He is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is also a Registered Insolvency Professional.
Mansij carries a diversified and rich experience of more than 11 years in the field of Corporate & Commercial laws and has been the part of private equity and foreign investment transactions in India and abroad. He has a rich background in accounts and law which gives him an edge over others when it comes to corporate and commercial transactions pertaining to corporate reorganization and restructuring, mergers & amalgamations, joint ventures, private equity transactions. Of lately, Mansij has been actively providing his professional services and expertise under the regime of Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code by providing legal support (transactional as well as litigation) to his clients who are investing in distressed companies undergoing insolvency proceedings, which services include drafting and preparation of Resolution Plans, meeting and negotiating with the Financial and other Creditors on the terms of the
investment/ acquisition, and also representing his clients before the relevant courts of law, tribunals and authorities. Mansij has recently received much success and acclaim in Insolvency circles for rendering his expertise which have led to approval and successful acquisition of distressed assets by his clients. Mansij is also providing his professional services to a number of Insolvency Professionals for helping them carry out their functions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Mansij is also engaged in stressed assets management. He has been successfully resolving NPA accounts with the financial institutions and banks by closely monitoring the accounts and rescuing them through various modes.

Vikas Goel is the Founder & Senior Partner of the firm’s Moradabad Office. He heads the Direct Taxation Group. His practice spans over for around fifteen years in representing clients in litigations. His experience lies in tax, civil and corporate litigation.
Vikas has rich and varied experience in diverse litigation matters at various Courts and Tribunals across the country such as the High Courts, Company Law Board, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Competition Commission of India, National Green Tribunal (NGT), Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) and Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (AAIFR).

Shri Prakash Paharia is a Partner of the firm’s New Delhi Office. He heads the Indirect Taxation Group. He has over 15 years of experience in Advisory Work in the area of Direct as well as Indirect Taxation and Corporate Finance. Prior to his joining of bar, he was actively involved in addressing challenges of multijurisdictional tax operations, compliances, reporting of risk management for direct and indirect taxes.
He has advised domestic and multinational companies on a variety of tax and regulatory matters encompassing a broad range of industries, amongst which are manufacturing, trading, infrastructure, shipping, logistics and service industry. Over the years he has been actively involved in strategy development, tax planning and management and advised clients on the related issues thereof relating to cross border transactions, mergers and acquisitions amongst other.
He has represented clients before tax adjudicatory forums including the tribunals.

Surabhi Gupta is the Founder & Managing Partner of Athirst Legal-Advocates & solicitors. Surabhi has expertise and experience of more than a decade across multiple areas of legal practice. She pursues a philosophy of symbolic relationship with clients and works as an integral part of the client’s team. Her area of specialization includes media and broadcasting, health care and real estate. She has a comprehensive understanding of civil and commercial laws.
Surabhi apart from holding a degree in law from Delhi University has also done her masters in journalism and with her diversified and varied experience she holds an impeccable command on her subject.
Surabhi is actively representing the clients before National Company law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), District, State and National Consumer Forums and various district courts.
